Our Story
The Best Pest Management Services since 1980
Jeff Murray began his career in the pest control industry in 1972. After gaining years of hands-on experience and state licensing in pest management and wood-destroying insects, he founded Murray Exterminating Company Inc. in 1980.
What started as a one-man operation with a single truck has grown into a trusted local company with trained professionals and long-standing customer relationships—while still maintaining the same values it was built on.

Owner
Jeff Murray, Jr. founded Murray Exterminating Company in 1980 and has proudly served southeastern North Carolina for 46 years. His goal has always been to provide each customer with premium pest management. He began the business with a used truck, new tank, and a motto in which we still use today; “Don’t Worry-Call Murray”.

Loretta Powell has been with us for 26 years. Her knowledge of the pest industry and dedication to assist customers makes her a valuable asset to our office staff.
